As far as answering your question, in my opinion it's hard for a girl to think nothing is going on when you have a past with their guy, I guess. Some girls are just jealous. Some girls just don't care.
huh?
maybe i'd understand if you typed it in proper english.
it's one thing to talk "black" but another thing entirely to type it.
I agree. At some points I was like what?? I was listening to some music and had to turn it off just to fully focus on what was being said. LOL.
It's a hard topic for me to comment on because I agree with what everyone is saying. There are some guys that just hit women for no reason, and then again there are some women who hit men, expecting them not to hit back just because they are women. As far as your friend is concerned, I'm sorry about her death. No one deserves to have something like that happen to them, and I feel horrible that her parents had to bury a child and that she will no longer be able to attend school.
You know, they say it's hard to comment on a situation that you have never been in before. Thank God I haven't and that my friends haven't. My advice is that if you are in an abusive relationship --whether it be physical or verbal -- take the necessary steps to get out. Easier said than done, I know, but you have to do it, you know? Guys shouldn't hit girls, but girls can't hit guys either.
like i was in the feminine care aisle one day, you know they got cups that you stick up there like tampons? cups!?!?!? that's quite nasty. also they have RECYCLABLE PADS. you use them, and throw them in the washing machine, and they're good for 1-2 YEARS. sorry, that seems like that weird Sh*t that only white people would do.
Well, I've been wearing a sew in for quite some time now. Because of it, I haven't had a touch up in a while, but being that my hair is thin, I technically don't need one. My hair dresser who I started going to a month ago wanted me to just stick with the sew in for a while because my previous hair dresser had a weird techinique with sew-ins and touch ups that made my hair break off. So, it's been a while and when I saw her a few days ago, she said that she wants to give my whole head a touch up and then give me a pony tail to give my hair a break from the sew-ins because it wouldn't be worth it to get a touch up, and then braid the hair again immediately afterwards for a sew-in, and then in two weeks we could do the sew-in again. The thing is that, I don't want a pony tail, but I do need a touch up. I'm so used to the sew-in. It's not long at all, but I like them because they make my hair fuller because it's so thin. Any suggestions??
Hee...I wish I could even afford to think about having crazy shopping habits. I rarely shop and when I do it's always for things I need. But still if I spend $100 or more I spaz out like I'mma go broke any second. Truth be told, I'd bed I spend more funny feeding my gut than anything else. ;-)
That is so true. I have a part-time job to help pay my credit card bills (all 3 of them.... :o ) and I tell myself not to spend money on things I don't need, and when I do, like on an outfit or something, I feel guilty. Like I should have saved it. I get jelaous when I see my friends or other females buyng stuff like it's nothing but I can't. Oh, well. No one MADE me get these credit cards....
I'm not like that either. I dated one guy who had money...but I didnt know he had money all like that til later on... and when things got ugly, his money didnt mean ANYTHING!!!!! I still left him because he hurt me and he was a jerk...but when it's serious dating and we're talkin about marriage...I'ma need for him to either be comfortable wit me makin more money than him...or for him to have some plans to make money himself...cause either way we're gonna live comfortably...but casual dating...just as long as we dont go to McDonalds for dates all tha time lol.
"if you don't dictate it, it will be dictated to you" just sums up what serpent said, which i agree with. i think that the problem is not in women being in videos showing skin, that's not new. but the problem is in women thinking that's all there is. i agree with serpent that it's very important to know who you are before you let someone try to tell you what to be. you only end up lost. i wouldn't be in a video, and yes i would like to see the nelly video where everyone is wearing sweats and t-shirts (not sweat thongs, not their little sister's t-shirt) and the video is still hot. but until that day i'll try to keep my hating down to a minimum. i just hate how there's such a wide range of beauty in the world and it has to get condensed down to one type. i mean, people don't even like one type of juice, why do we have to settle for seeing one standard of beauty day in and day out?
I also agree with you. They need to show a wide range of beauty in the media.
If anyone watched the last episode of Making the Band where the girls had to dance for Diddy after running, what is the name of the song they performed to?
She may have busted a U-turn on you because she didn't like what she had seen. . Seriously, it may have been a sense of nervousness, or all in those few seconds she had a physical view of you, she had decided otherwise.
Karrine Steffans, a self-proclaimed Video Vixen said in her book, Confessions of a Video Vixen" that "The top reason a woman finds herself in a rap video, sprawled undressed over a luxury car while a rapper is saying lewd things about her, is a lack of self-esteem. I know it sounds like a cliche', but no one who values, loves, or knows herself would allow herself to be placed in such a degrading position..."
While having a conversation with a friend, she said to me, "I can't watch videos anymore. If that is what men see is beautiful, then where does that leave me?" What do you all think of girls who are in music videos? There are some women who use music videos to reach higher plateaus, such as Melyssa Ford and Leila Arcieri, while some girls are just in it for the money and the recognition. Do you think that girls who let images of these women affect their self esteem need help or do you do agree with Karrine Steffans?
lookin like christina milian in that extremely cluttered dorm room

i heard pysch majors are out in 4 years
LOL!! At first I was like what? But then I remembered what that picture looked like. Thanks for the compliment because she is a pretty girl, but I swear that is not my rom. It was my friend's room.
