Yes I have looked on the School of Ed. website, and have started on my application already (yea I know it's pretty early, but I need to get a head start).
Anybody in any grad program@ Howard? I am a senior at a PWI and God willing, I will be at Howard Fall'08 for grad school. Any advice, tips, opinions??
Oh yea, when I graduate I will have a Bachelor's in Early/Elementary Education with a minor in African-American Studies. I want to get my Masters of Arts in Education.

I haven't been on here in a minute. Well I'm still at my PWI of choice (funny I joined this site thinking I really was goin to an HBCU..). Although I have to give it to my school, the African Americans are definitely taking over.
I am not graduating this year (like someone else said, who actually graduates on time?), but I should be May of 2008. No kids, not married or none of that nonsense. I was thinking about transferring to UA or UGA...but I decided to stick it out here.

I agree with LadyJag, that shit is ridiculous. I am glad he told, he should get awarded for that for NOT bein a b!tch and tell. I think what they did to him was not necessary, at all. :x
I really want to move back home down south (Birmingham, AL). I went there to see my family last month and DID NOT want to leave (i cried at the airport & half the flight home....lol). Either there or back to my other home in Northern VA. I am so sick of the 757 and Richmond is a mess, so I know i wont stay in either of those places after I graduate.
I got folks in b-ham and surrounding areas (Gardendale, Leeds, Hoover, Ensley, Talladega, and I know somebody from Eutaw AL).
It really is a beautiful area. I wouldn't mind settling into my TV career in Birmingham!
Yes i love the Ham, i'm from Titi-ville (Titusville), but i got fam in Irondale, Homewood, Montgomery-but i like B'Ham the best, i cant wait to go back over the summer. :-D
WOW ALabama to me comes of as this hick mobile home type of state but its sooo much different down there Im wondering why u didnt go to talladega or Grambling tuskegee those are all GOOD HBCU'S in AL you didnt have to suffer in VA lol thats what it seems like maybe u wil ltransfer and feel a whole lot better about things I would go to Hampton but Im tired of 757 area living I want to try something new u kno so that s why my fall school is three states down
Oh no, B'Ham is far from country..lol. My people live IN the city, like downtown-next-to-projects type living. The 757 is ok, but i like the Metro area, Northern Va ALOT better. I should have went to school in AL w/ my cousins, but to transfer now would be a mid life crisis. I have to many credits at VCU and this is my 3rd year, and to transfer now, I know would set me back even farther.

I dont mind if dude just jump behind me, especially if im in the mood to shake my @$$. But if he aint lookin right, my girls give me the signal and pull me away as if they are urgently tryin to talk to me..lol. Other times i would like for a dude to grab only my hand cuz i hate when a dude grabs my @ss and expects me to dance with him. No No, its not that kind of party...
