You will do it at your orientation, either TOPS in the summer, or freshman week, the week b4 classes.
If you want first pick, its ur best bet to attend TOPS
if you haven't enrolled yet and want to change majors, then you have to submit that to the admissions office.
The 1st 2 years are supposed to be general ed, but some majors have intro courses ur freshman year and start u in the major your sophomore year.
yea, then campus will definately be quiet. The people, like me, who are still in town for work (me), didnt have money, etc. don't come on campus.
Your orientation visit will be alot better.
I definately understand how you feel Serreen, i came to FAMU by myself from Dallas, Texas. My transistion was pretty easy for me because i ran for Senate as well as participated on the Dorm Step Team, of which i met a lot of people doing both. Yea there are a lot of people here from FL but there are also a lot of people from out of state. I would say the ratio is close to 50/50.
I'm now working on my 2nd degree @ FAMU, some of my best friends are from anywhere from FL, to PA, VA, etc. Regardless of where u come from, the school as well as upperclassmen try to make the transition for you as easy as possible.
i was wondering can freshmen have cars on campus
and when is tryout for any of the dance troupes
As far as the dance troupes are concerned, go to the first couple of set fridays, a lot of organizations will be out there included all the dance troupes.
There are anywhere from 4-7 dance troupes and it depends on the style of dance you would like to do.
It's not that there aren't any rattlers on here...its just that the ones that frequented the board either graduated or about to graduate...they be back on when school begins again.
I used to moderate this forum before they redid it, but I'm trying to come back to boards a little more often now.
