"The reason I lied was because they (the Omegas) made a deal along with Terrell Jackson, a faculty member and Omega," Rutledge said. "He told Deion (Dorsett) to tell me to drop the charges and they would pay my rent for six months."
Rutledge said he agreed to the alleged deal.
You were internally bleeding and the pay for that is for someone to pay your rent for six months???
:x Damn shame.
We went through a pledging process just like any other greek org so why can't we get similar respect.
The Divine Nine of the NPHC are non-HAZING organizations if those are the "other greek org" that you are talking about. And even if you had a process does not mean that you will get respect from everyone.

I can see where people come from when they say we're not greek but if you think about it we actually are in a sense because we have a greek letter (greek is greek whether its 3 letter or 1 letter) and we pledge too.
You're not greek.
Here's the definition of Auxiliary-1) Giving assistance or support; helping. 2)Acting as a subsidiary; supplementary
Definition of subsidiary-1) Serving to assist or supplement; auxiliary. 2) Secondary in importance; subordinate.
So basically you are a support group it looks like =-)

and we also help the boys during their intake process.

During our process we are taught the values of finer womanhood and how to always be a lady and uphold a good name for ourselves.
So then why didn't you just become a Zeta? That's one of their principals if I'm not mistaken and they are the LEGAL sisters of PBS.
CheyneyDove5 wrote:
Yes, Zeta Phi Beta is constitutionally bound to Phi Beta Sigma so they are their true sisters.
Okay I guess you DID know that.
CheyneyDove5 wrote:
My big brothers of Phi Beta Sigma on our yard respect us and treat us like true little sisters.
Uh....but you just said the Zetas were the true sisters.... :???: :???: :???:
CheyneyDove5 wrote:
Anyway, I respect the Zetas very much and I would never overstep my boundary as a dove because I recognize that we are a small part of the fraternity.
Okay, that's good.
CheyneyDove5 wrote:
What a lot of people fail to realize(even some Zeta's) is that many Zeta's started out as Doves!
How many? The only Zetas I know of that were in any kind of aux membership was Iota Sweethearts but you are probably somewhat right.
CheyneyDove5 wrote:
I feel that aux ladies who decide to join sororities are even more of an asset because of the information they know and have learned that could better the sorority.
You're saying that if all members of a sorority would of joined an secondary group, an "aux" group, that we would of been better members b/c we were aux members first? You're kidding right......
Wow.
***It's one thing to believe that when you are anonymous, but its a totally different thing to say that once people know what you look like.... So much for anonymity... If I were you, I'd remove my pic QUICK, FAST, and in a hurry... you never know people's true attitudes on the internet.. :!:   Just think of how many people know who you are now, and not necessarily for something good.. That sux.
ATTENTION HOMIES
Are some female sororities biast against a certain skin tone??? COME ON... I heard that Deltas are composed of mostly darker women... and AKA's are composed of more light skinned women. Im light-skinned... and I've always wanted to be a Delta... does that slim my chances??? Just because of my "melanin deficiancy?" hehe...
HELP ME OUT!!!!
First of all, we're not your homies.
Secondly, if you based one of the reasons why you are scared to join the sorority of your choice, then you need to sit and reconsider if you are ready to join. If something as much as your skin color makes you freak out...that's not positive.
Third. Discretion is key.
OH Lord :? This has gotten way out of hand and off the original topic. I wasn't tryin to start no war up in here.............................................
But since ya'll did has anyone heard of a business sorority called Iota Phi Lambda? Just wondering if any other schools have this on they campus and if so do they wear nailia and have a call etc.... :?:
Actually I think I started it but oh well.....
I never heard of them but I have heard of Gamma Phi Delta which is also a business sorority and they also have nalia, a sign, and they step!
Greeks (meaning those of the divine 9) should not take offense to the truth when it’s out there. Don’t get angry with your brothers or sisters for restating it. If you are getting offended by it, then maybe you should ask yourself do you really know all of your history :?: .
Just for clarification, NOBODY knows ALL of their history. I promise you.
But, people front lioke u can't tell 'em NOTHIN'...everyday.

I've visited a school that has an frat called Sigma Rhomeo...
I also know a woman who's a omega "gem" and I asked her about it when she wore her jacket one day but she didn't elaborate on it too much. It was almost like she didn't think I would understand... :?
Yes, some schools have Rhomeos...in NC ECSU has some I believe...they are cool with me...
I've never seen a Aux with a jacket....hmmmm
