BOTH CAU AND NC A&T WERE NECK AND NECK GOING INTO THE FINAL DECISION MAKING STAGE BUT WHEN I TOURED THE CAMPUS OF A&T YESTERDAY...I KNEW I WAS MEANT TO BE AN AGGIE.....
I HOPE EVERYONE ELSE HAS MADE THEIR DECISIONS AS WELL...GOOD LUCK.
AGGIEPRIDE!!!!
I want to make the right choice for my college education, my parents and I are in disagreement regarding my final two choices....with all the talk about CAU and the financial issues there facing, my parents are very concerned about their accreditation and the majors...(CAU is my first choice)
What happens if god forbid they do lose there accreditation, what happens to me as a student...
Any thoughts out there or anyone sharing the same concerns?? Its coming down to crunch time, gotta make some decisions
If you got the emial confirmation back when you scheduled the tour your good...thats all I received.
They dont take names or anyting when you get there, you just meet with a gropu of others and they tour you like that.
Keep trying admissions if you want confirmation, but for me the email confirmation was all I needed even though it said you would be contacted within a week.
Hope this helps and have fun..I had a blast during my tour.
Each time I called I asked to check the status of my application, for one to ensure they had everything, then once they told me they had everything, they began to tell me it was in the decisions makers hands and it would be a week or so..then I called back to see if they made a decision..they told me they wanted updated transcripts so I sent that, then I made sure he received the transcripts and then they sent me an email...so it pays to double check with them...
Im going. it took me about 2 months to get my acceptance letter but I finally got it a few weeks ago...actually they sent me an email first....we called them every week until we got a response....the head of admissions was very helpful...
Ill see ya there...hit us up on facebook as well...
Im going to visit next weekend!
Keep calling...you want to make sure they have your entire package, see if they tell you its in the decision making process...if so you can problaby speak to the admissions counsler that is handling it.
Keep up posted as to what they say....
