You were on hbcu-central.com BEFORE there was a "cafe"
There were no ads on the website
Hbcu-central.com was a hobby done at night by a 1 man show (something like the wizard of OZ)
The only other social networking site for blacks was blackplanet.com and the founders of myspace and facebook probably never thought they'd have blacks flocking to their sites making them rich (ok c€all me a hater )
You're really old school if you remember the cafe before Chris got admin privledges and if you knew he got admin privledges simply by asking me for it hahahaha!
And finally... You know you're old school if you remember NeoSoulBrotha won the first ever hbcu scholarship from hbcu-central.com cause he was helping folks on the boards like he worked here!
And if you don't think the cafe is making a comback meet one of my favorite new smilies:
aww yay I'm an oldhead even tho nobody remembers me lol.
you know ur an oldhead when:
you remember the transition b/t "co-sign" to "i concur"
you remember when the forum was brown
you remember the surge of students going to HU pre-college summer 03
Yep...this is one of those freaky poems
The kind a woman writes after her man parts her lips with his
00oo00, that shit is the biz...
Yep...this is one of those freaky rhymes
Written in times of pleasure
The kind that don't even begin to measure
The treasure between your thighs
When emotional and physical highs coincide
This is the true citation of the great migration
That your tongue made across my breasts
While we were giving each other our best
Not remembering the rest, while making love
Nipple to nipple, chest to chest
Sunrise the ultimate pest
This kind of rhyme is rock solid
The way you were the night my legs parted
And you slipped into my world
The night you wrote your name on it
And made me your girl
This is some writing to put your hands on
The kind that gets your moisturized between the thighs
Or cemented in your drawlz
Wishing you could feel her walls
This one's a nut buster orgasm cluster
Hope it hit the spot...
You know you're and HBCU Oldhead if...You remember when Rosie used to hit on every other female on here...
Females: you ever had some "heated" conversations with Tres...and by heated, meaning it left you sweating...
You remember "Everybody Hates Chris" when it was NOT a TV show...
Damn, I haven't started a new thread on here in a while...but this one is strictly for the oldheads that are left...
You know you're an oldhead on HBCUConnect.com if...You remember when it was HBCUCentral...
Keep it going...
Being that I was born in New Orleans, it hit me in a place in my heart that I believe has never been hit that poignantly before. I commend Spike Lee first off for being one of my heroes, and secondly for doing my city justice. It really gave a voice to our struggle and to how we truly felt about that bitch Katrina...
