and honestly, i can't believe you would even attempt comparing the plight of the Negro with that of the Homo. that's a pointi won't diginify with a response.
the fact that you totally ignored what i said and how i compared them shows you didn't get the point i was trying to display. and i'm not hostile. there's a difference between not agreeing and being totally IGNORANT.
i'm done.
also, it's very ignorant to say "i don't understand why they have rallies etc...i don't go around flaunting my heterosexuality like people have a problem."
first off when was heterosexuality a problem? heteros are not oppressed. and black ppl had rallies and all that during the 60s, do you not understand that as well? and don't try and say it's different because it's the same kind of discrimination. whites were even preaching and finding stuff in the bible to defame and hate blacks ultimately.
i didn't say your comments were pro-gay violence, but with that demeanor who knows?
and (not only to you mia) homosexuality is not a CHOICE, i'm tired of people saying that. you living the lifestyle and refusing to be on "the downlow" is a choice, who you are attracted to is not. yall didn't choose who to like, and neither do homosexuals.
and using "i'm a christian" is a cop out to disprove of homosexuality. people already think badly and stereotype christians every chance they get. why feed into it? "he who is without sin shall cast the first stone." christianity is to accept others and not accepting it, amongst other issues, is really a problem.
and i'm not trying to bash, just be a lil more open-minded.
night.
i sometimes feel like gays, lesbians, transgender..etcs over-emphasize their differences. so, as opposed to being something that doesn't concern me and i can accept it turns into annoyance. i don't go around flaunting my heterosexuality and assuming that everybody i meet will have a problem with it. there are no parades, no special symbols, no rallies.. i just am who i am and thats that. if the kid was gay & wasn't FLAMING i probably would not harbor any resentment towards him. them flamboyant ones tho.. whew!
you sound so ignorant.
most people do have a problem with it and thats why gay hate crimes continue to this day...but of course you probably just ignore that too, huh?
Its iight the Real HU dont need unsure minds lol....g'head skippin to da lame Hamptons where u got 11 o clock curfew in the middle of no where lol happy trails
You should've been looking for those outside scholarships anyway. Especially with organizations that loove to give money to HBCUs. I don't know if it'd pay for your entire COA, but it'd put a huge dent in it.
They're secondary because they have the swagger of a 14 year old Beverly hills white gangster rapper , They step like they're trying way too hard, and when it comes down to it, they aint in tha puprle and gold ...
And the male to female ration is probally like everywhere else...
Males: Enough, Females: Alot....
The only Greeks that really stepped were the Alpha's and the AKAs.
i'll have to disagree. i've been told this numerous times; don't go to a school because it's highly ranked. you can even say the same thing about the free ride; you wanna make sure that the school you go to is one that you can easily adjust to and feel comfortable in.
Anybody here go there? I'm visiting it in the summer, but I wanna know about it before I go or if I don't go so I know what to expect. (For a heads up, I mean the flagship in Baton Rouge, not NOLA).
Hey yall! My name is Hasting, I'm a junior, 17, and I live in tha A. I wanna go into marketing and I'm looking @ Hampton, Howard, Southern A&M, CAU, Morehouse, and FAMU (as far as HBCUs) so if you can help give me a lil info on these schools, i'd appreciate it alot.
Post my pic l8r.
