Well...I'm a high maintenance lady BUT I take care of myself. Maybe I'm confused is high maintenance when a girl expects a guy to buy all her crap or just a lady who keeps nice clothes, car, hair done...etc. I'm the second one. I know a lot of females who have very high standards and if you don't meet those....you can't date her. I was raised to take care of myself so I feel awkward when a guy pampers me....BUT i appreciate him for it. And I pamper my guy....take him out, buy him clothes. If it's a balance then that's ok right??
