Ok...this is just heart-breaking. *sad face*
Why are people bringing their kids to the prom?
Who brought their mom to the prom?
And why are all the pictures in the same background? Is the entire school ghetto or is it just a coincidence???
Howard is one of my top choices (actually my #1)
But Im worried that i wont be able to double major in Politcal Science & Secondary Education (History). Can anyone tell me is I can do that and what are the required classes for those majors?
Political Science and History are both in the College of Arts & Sciences, whereas Secondary Ed falls under the School of Education.
I was told that if you double major it has to be within the same school/college. Once you get to Howard you can speak with an academic advisor and they might be able to give you more info.
[QUOTE=Hova's Girl <3;309132]My EFC was 0.
EFC= Expected Family Contribution. Basically we're broke..lol I had to do all that verification nonsence.
& legally I dont have any parents...being a ward of the court is kinda like being an orphan (but your parents dont necessarily have to be dead) I belong to the gov't. So on my FAFSA I filed as independent. Its like im living on my own, and have no income.
Im sure people from years past have had EFC's of zero, and i know there are people who were wards of the court.
So does that mean you automatically get funding/scholarships/grants upon acceptance?
and i also dont believe your major will give you a better chance of getting in.
Umm, I would say both yes and no for that one.
Each school/college within Howard University also has their own requirements for admission so it can either be a positive or negative depending on the major.
