LisaRaye McCoy-Misick
LisaRaye McCoy-Misick was born on September 23, 1967, in Chicago, IL. She is an actress and fashion designer. LisaRaye was born to a businessman and professional model and is the half-sister to the rapper, Da Brat. She attended Eastern Illinois University before pursuing a career in show business. LisaRaye got her start as a model in fashion shows for churches and high schools in Chicago. She later played an acting role in an independent film but is most known for her lead role as Diamond, in 1998's The Player's Club. In 2001 LisaRaye was voted "The Year's Sexiest Woman" by Black Men magazine. In 2003 she starred in the sitcom, All of Us, which ended filming in 2007. LisaRaye is now the founder of two clothing lines: Luxe & Romance, a lingerie line and XRaye, a women's jean line. She's also set to star in the upcoming film, Contradictions of The Heart in 2009.
