I know this has already been talked about but I just want to know who uis relaxed and who is natural. Also are u happy with your hair state.... carry on :grin:
why is everyonr goin natural now a days? Nappy hair is not hot. My hair is relaxed, but i havent relaxed it in a min. i keep it flat ironed too. pony tails will KILL your hair!! NO JOKE!!!!
....umm a perm can kill your hair too....flat ironing can burn your hair and its natural texture....

I kno dat a perm could kill your hair, thats why im very careful about using them, i flat iron my hair once a month, so technically my hair isnt being burned. Its when u put heat to your hair like once a week that it burns, and duh, i kno that no black sista was born with european styled hair (unless they mixed with some other race). I was not trying to insult ANYONE by my comments, especially not you, or my ancestors. I was just statin my opinion. Everyone's entitled to that. So i apoligize if i offended you. Maybe my point of view is the way that it is because everyone that i have ever saw with a natural either has an afro, or really nappy hair just all over their head. are there any other styles that someone with a natural could rock besides those listed? Let me kno.

I agree that everyone is entitled to their opinions but its insulting when you say "nappy hair is not hot"....now i could understand if you say Natural Hair is just not for you....thats understandable...and i was stating my opinion on the subject....Im sorry if it seems like im going overboard on this subject but this really hits close to home and it appears that people who don't understand what natural hair means to those who have and uplift it, seem to put it in a negative light....you may not like natural hair but others may find it beautiful....and ok maybe the people you know don't keep their hair well enough for you to approve....but still your comment insulted me nonetheless, but i understand that that was not your intent at all....
and there are many different natural styles besides a Fro and "nappy hair all over your head"......there are two strand twists...sister locks....regular locks....coils.....twist out........and plenty more.....
maybe if you saw a wider range of natural styles you can see more than just "naps"......

I've got natural hair and I love it. My hair is really really wavy so it's cool with me. I wear it in a tight bun most of the time, and i get compliments all the time.
