I have enough brain-rot in my life already. If I need a fix that bad, I can go on-campus or to my parents' house. And there's always reruns. S**t, I've survived 20 years without a TV in my room, I'll make it a few more. smh...
Yeah, it really is that crucial. I haven't watched any TV since September except for a little of Carrie before Halloween. I've known all along that I had to be on-campus for the premiere. The Dark Tower Project is co-hosting a viewing party so you know I'm gonna be there (even though I have more important stuff to not be doing).
I've downloaded every preview and trailer I could find, and I'll post all the links here in a minute. I was gonna take some of those cardboard ad thingies out of the MARTA trains to use as posters in my room, but they were all gone by Friday. I'd been trying to nab one since Monday and some stupid cracker or top-flight security was always standing in front of them. :x
LMAO....I texted everyone to watch this show, and as soon as the show was over they were like "OMFG, that shit was even so funny"...even my girl who dosent even turn to CN was like "it was funny"
LOL @ Uncle Rukus...."Don't trust dem new Niggas over thurrr!"
LMAO  at the part with George Dubya Bush.....LMAO I was dying!!
its not that Riley is dumb...........
he is just tryin TOO damn hard 2 BE "Hard"...............lol
Street................thug.............wutever.....
but yea.......he's smart as hell.............he's just street smart + book smart.......
but that Sh*t with him talkin bout R. Kelly............is FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!

and if he's supporting r.kelly fa real
that's a major thumbsdown to the show
it has to be a joke or something that is purposely tryna make r.kelly supporters look like the stupid nigg@s they are

Ok, who's the stupid ninja here, Riley or you? How many different languages do we have to tell you why Riley acts the way he does? Call it ignorance, call it stupidity, I don't care. But yes, that's why he is saying those things. It's not just about "supporting child molesters," it's about a whole mentality. Let me know if you would like to read some of the comics to understand this better.
Girl, how did you get to college not knowing how to absorb simple information?
I'm not gonna ignore you, but I'm done responding to your pointless comments about Riley. Save it for your real friends next Sunday!!
damn, damn, DAMN!!!
i missed it... should have been inside watchin adult swim instead of doin inappropriate things with boys.
i miss a lot of good tv when im out with boys, for some reason.
aaron mcgruder is fine as hell, by the way. just thought that i'd throw that out there.
I love the boondocks, read it everyday, it somehow makes my already dull day brighter. But anyway, i read that each character is a representation of the types of black men, for example Huey is the millitant brotha, named after Huey P Newton, and Freeman from Sam Greenlee's "Spook who sat by the door" umm Riley is, the wanna be gansta hard nigga, Grandpa, well i don't know who grandpa really is supposed to be, Uncle Rukus is the Uncle Tom Clarence Thomas, type dude.
I liked the show, but i didn't like the voices, i mean i like Regina King and all, but i thought they should have used someone else i dunno :???:
and that McGruder dude is kinda hot.

Robert "Granddad" Freeman, from the 1st episode, seems like two kind of black men to me...1) the "not so black" man, & then at times, 2) the "Uncle Tom" who just wants to suck up to the white man (while cussin him out behind his back)...correct me if i'm wrong tho..
